Guest guest Posted March 13, 2003 Report Share Posted March 13, 2003 If a patient in a SNF has exhausted their $1500 cap for Med B and is in need of skilled therapy, can they go to a local hospital to receive it? Or, can a local hospital set up a satellite at the SNF to provide treatment beyond the cap? My thinking is that hospitals are not operating under the cap.
