Yup that's how my dishrag dad acted too.

If my mum became angry, he became angry too. Yet he'd be quite happy

until she started. He would frequently tell me " not to worry " about

something, and then when my mum got angry with me (which she so

frequently did), he would change his mind and become angry with me too!

Crazy, crazy behaviour!

That is a new way of defining a 'dishrag dad'. The original meaning

on the board was that he is a wimp....not willing to stand up to his

wife even when he knows she is wrong. 'dishrag dad' meant a very weak

person , devoted to keeping the peace rather than serving what is

right. Dee
