NON FICTION !!!

The following story is TRUE. Yes I can honestly say this happened to me ! Some

of you smart A% & S will say this is 'what happened' to Marcus !!! and maybe

that's true too.......

Twenty four hours before AN surgery in 87, this scientist gook comes to my ward

and gives me a 20 minute lecture about how I could save you guys from future AN

surgery. HE was peddling a revolutionary treatment called RADIO DYNAMIC THERAPY.

This involved a series of injections the day before surgery, using a

concentrated blood product that was chemically treated with something very

nasty.( something from Chenobyl is my guess ) Well so what you say ?? well this

was a transfusion with a difference. This was not just any ordinary blood. This

blood was taken from a COW !

( OK I know you are all rolling on the floor by now !!! )

Once I had these injections I could not go out into daylight, or under light

bulbs for two to three weeks. ( For fear that I would go MOOO !!! ) In reality

this was because I would be seriously burned by the light.

The theory behind this treatment was that, they could give you these injections

before surgery, then make a small hole in your head and ZAP the AN with a soft

light laser. This would then kill the tumour for ever more, without AN removal.

It all makes heaps of sense, so I volunteered. From what we were told my AN was

sent to the US where it was treated with the laser to see what effect it had. We

never heard anything more ( no pun intended )

As for me ! I was taken around in a wheel chair completely covered with a

blanket for the next three weeks. This was hilarious ! I was wheeled by nurses

around the hospital grounds and to the snack bar, across the street, down the

road, always covered in a blanket. I peaked out of my SHROUD, and could see

people really freaking out ! The ward I was in, had to be blacked out ! Even the

intensive care ward had to have its lights dimmed

I don't think I have ever fully recovered from this treatment, from that day on

I burn easy in the sun.

AND I DO A GREAT MOO !!!!

Can anyone beat this treatment ?????????
