Guest guest
K2, Welcome to the group. You sound like you've been given quite the runaround, but I'm glad that your current pcp is at least receptive to your pain and trying to help alleviate it. Have you consulted with an infectious disease specialist about the " weird " virus you contracted? If not, I'd suggest that you do so. I also think that a sleep study might be in order. I just had one done because of nighttime spasming. To my shock, the study revealed that I have severe obstructive sleep apnea. Like you, I always assumed that my poor sleep was a result of my pain problems and shrugged it off. Had I not gone in for the study for an unrelated problem, I never would have known that my sleep problems could actually kill me in time! You have nothing to lose by having a study done, so please give it some thought. I'm sorry that you have the need for this group, but glad you found it. The members here are terrifically informative and supportive, and I know you'll be happy that you joined. Hugs, a

Conversely, I've had several doctors tell me I'm " just " depressed, even though I know the difference between the physical symptoms I'm experiencing and depression. The fatigue is at times unbearable, and at others I hardly notice it. All of my episodes are repetitive and somewhat predictable. I could go on and on. Glad to be here. Thanks for listening. K2 Kathy, I can understand where your coming from. Some days I never leave my bed except for when nature calls. The pain is over whelming. I'm glad your finding a good doctor. Just keep her imformed and Keep a diary of your pain and how your feeling everyday. It will help your doctor out. Your in my prayers. Carol from NC .
