Guest guest
, I think we all have those days. I know that I sure do. In my case, it's a combination of the sedating effects of my meds, fatigue, and pain. Not to mention too much to do in too little time most days. In your case, throw in a young child, and it's no wonder you're forgetful! There have been many a day when I've walked into the kitchen for a very specific purpose, and by the time I get there, I've forgotten what I'm supposed to be doing or looking for. I often walk around like a chicken without a head. I used to be a gourmet cook; lately, the only way to tell that dinner is ready is when the smoke alarm goes off. LOL Don't be so hard on yourself. Guest guest
>Oh Lord yes, Jenifer! LOL. Thank you for an early morning laugh. I'm not laughing at you but with you as I recall many similar incidences of mine. I drove a semi with my husband for 2 years, I've drove an automatic and standard shift vehicles all my life. One day I was driving the standard shift vehicle, stopped for a red light and when the light turned green, I froze. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what to do next. I sat through that light with people blowing their horns at me then I thought look on the gear shift. On the gear shift is a pattern of the gears. I was able to put the vehicle in first, then the rest came to me. Boy did I feel like a fool! Another time, I had bought bleach the day before and it was sitting in the kitchen. I meant to pick up the bleach and go pour some into the washer, instead I took the coffee pot and my husband ran after me and caught me just before I had the chance to pour our much loved coffee in the washer! Now my family watches me closer because nothing I do would surprise them anymore!!!! LOL. Judy from Mo.

Kaylene Lately I find more and more that I have to write everything down! I can't remember what I need at the store. I can't remember what I have to do at work. I have put Christmas gifts away to hide them and then couldn't remember where they were. One year we found gifts in our attic 4 months after Christmas! At least I was able to give them to my daughter for her birthday! Robyn >a wrote: , I think we all have those days.
