Guest guest
Could you tell me what denervation is? I am just starting down this road of spine treatments for a L5S1 compressed disc with nerve damage in my butt and left leg. I would appreciate any helpful information on treatments that might be offered to me to releive the pain.
Guest guest
A denervation is where they burn the nerves as close to the root as possible only sensor nerves are burned in this procedure. They insert a hot needle for 10 seconds then move to another spot. My first one he got very close to the nerve root I had horible burning for 3 weeks then the scar tissue healed around it and I had no pain at all for 10 months. Then the nerves had regenerated. Ive had injections some work some don't, but this works very well for me so I will do it again. Terry
