I feel the same way for my children that live out of state and the dear grandchildren that maybe I see once a year. This slower lifestyle does give me time to send lots of mail, cards, clippings from newspapers etc and oh the joy of receiving scribbled notes and colored papers. We have a telephone service with one flat fee of $30 a month to make all calls so I call one or another each week. High points for granny!! Send your dear momma notes, cards etc and call her whenever you can. I know she would appreciate that.
