Guest guest
Thanks for your help with the " accept no comfort " comment. It helped me first by giving me a more objective sense of it, and second by clueing me in to some issues I hadn't gotten to yet. Like how my friends have to adjust, too. I didn't have enough trouble with interpersonal relationships before the diagnosis?...you know, this EDS is a real pain. L, Mark
Guest guest
Hi Mark, I am sorry you are being hurt by your friends as well as the EDS. My standard comment is " some days are better than others " to those who know me well, or the standard " Fine " . > I didn't have enough trouble with interpersonal relationships before the > diagnosis?...you know, this EDS is a real pain. Since going off ill from work 4 years ago, I have not kept up with work colleagues at all. I now have a different circle of friends and those who really know me know how well I am by whether I am with them or not, as the case may be. If I get to a meeting or a group to which I belong, it must be a reasonable day. On bad days I give my apologies for absence and go to bed. Yes, EDS sucks!!! Love, Lilian.
