Guest guest Posted March 13, 2006 Report Share Posted March 13, 2006 Hi all! Fred was released from the surgeon last Friday for her knee surgery. It's healed nice and strong! No give in it at all!! But.....we had the vet look at a bump at her bumhole. I was hoping for an inflamed anal sac but no it's a tumor. I noticed it 2 weeks ago and it's grown since then. It's a tumor. Whether it's cancer or not we won't know unless we send it off after surgery. So guess what? Fred is having it removed in the next week or 2. Since it is growing we have to have it removed. Of course it couldn't have been there during the first surgery. But this one is a lot less expensive. And she gets to come home that day. So we'll know more after the surgery on what it is. I'm sick about this surgery. I hate doing this to her so soon. I couldn't figure out why on the 10th the day of her appt that I felt so weird about. Then it came to me. That's the day 3 years ago we put Cheyenne, my cat, asleep. I think we'll be doing her surgery on the 21st. Thanks, Shirley More storms on the way. We're about floating away all ready.
