Guest guest
The last two weeks I have felt *sudden* feelings of terror come over me without them being based in reality. Is this part of withdrawal? If so, will it go away eventually? " D "
Guest guest
D, you haven't given me enough information to answer this. I don't even know where you're at in the withdrawal or recovery process (are you still on any drug? Are you currently dectreasing it? When was your last decrease and by what amount?) I don't know what you've been eating, drinking, supplements you've been taking, stress level, exercise...etc. Fill in some of the blanks and we can probably zero in on the problem. Guest guest
Hi , My last dose cut was about 4 weeks ago; it took 2 weeks to stablize and then I stayed there another 2 weeks. I am currently at 18.75mg of Venaflexine(sp?); I take 1/4 of a 37.50mg tablet in the morning and 1/4 of a 37.50mg tablet in the evening. I've been keeping all the cuts between 5-10% and I never cut again until I feel *completely* stable. VITAMINS AND FOOD: I currently take: --1 multivitamin in the morning after I eat breakfast. BREAKFAST: 1 egg on whole wheat toast or cottage cheese and apple with cinnamon or a protein shake, or oat groats with apple and cinnamin. --1 multivitamin after lunch LUNCH: chicken breast, carrots & tomatoes, or peanut butter on whole wheat with banana, or grilled cheese on whole wheat toast, or ham with lettuce, tomatoe, onion on whole wheat roll. Taken about 1 hour after lunch: --1 Omega-3 Complex: 545mg EPA/235mg DHA --1 Vita-E Complex: 400IU d-alpha tocopherol and mixed tocopherols conentrate. Also contains 65mcg Selenium and 38mg Grapeseed Extract Taken about 2 hours after lunch: --Natural Calm Magnesium Powder (I'm having to slowly work my way up; started at 1/4 of tsp. and now at 3/4 of tsp.) SUPPER: Regularly--Chicken Breast or Lean Hamburger. 1-2 times a month--fish, pork chops, or roast. Every night: Veggies--either steamed or raw: broccoli or carrots or corn, or, cauliflower, or green beans, or peas. Sometimes: romaine lettuce with red/yellow peppers, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and a lite raspberry/walnut vinegarette. Sometimes stirfried veggies: asparagus, green beens, cauliflower & carrots. I drink mostly water, some fruit juice and a soda--only when out at a restaurant (1-2 month). My number one problem with getting enough water is that I am almost never thirsty. I could go for a whole day or two and never miss liquid. With Valentine's Day and my Birthday within days of each other I did have ice cream, cake, and chocolate. (I'm guessing this has been the biggest culprit). I was suprised I even ate them, because since reducing the med. I have not had much of a desire to eat this junk. When I do have the desire it's to eat a lot of it. SIGH) STRESS LEVEL: Husband is traveling for 2 weeks at a time for the next 2 months. I am 1300 miles from immediate family. I do have friends here, but everyone has their own stuff to deal with. I haven't had any time talking with a friend face to face in 2 weeks (although I use the telephone a lot to keep in touch with family and friends). EXERCISE: None I'm also having a difficult time with sleep. I want to lay down, but I have this feeling like something is holding me back, like an underlying agitation; don't want to stay awake, don't want to sleep. Thank you , " D " > > The last two weeks I have felt *sudden* feelings of terror come over > > me without them being based in reality. > > > > Is this part of withdrawal?
