That's about all it does. Anytime, a product claims to be able to help, or resolve a zillion things, it's too good to be true. One sellers claim that it helps with all of these things: aging skin, Alopecia Areata, arthritis, athletes foot beauty aid, bruising, burns, carpal tunnel syndrome chapped lips, Crohn's disease, IBD, conditioning hair, cosmetic, cuts & lacerations, diaper rash, dry skin eczema, fibromyalgia, hair loss, ichthyosis, insect bites, irritated skin, itching, joint pain, lowers Cholesterol, massage moisturizer, muscle pain & spasms pain relief, psoriasis, radiation burns, razor burn & nicks, rosacea, scar prevention, sciatica, scrapes & scratches, shingles, skin fungus, skin rashes, skin hydration, sore muscles, stiffness, stretch marks sunburn relief, surgery scars, swelling, tendinitis wrinkles & fine lines. Whew, that's a lot of different things! If it could do this many different things, we could all be just fine. Heck, we wouldn't even need this group. <g> Kaylene Moderator ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
Moderator's note: Fred, your Dad was a wise man. My Dad died from the complications related to Alzheimer's disease, (1997) and my Mom from emphysema. (2004)It goes without saying, that I miss them too. I'm glad I could help you. You're right, sometimes the brand name is more effective. Kaylene Hi Kaylene; Thanks for the info! I kinda thought it was a " snake oil " when it came out. I go by the rule I learned from my dad 'If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is " . Dad had a lot of good information to teach me, but he was terrible at " teaching " or passing along life's instructions to his son. I lost him in 2003 to a brain tumor. Thanks though, I'll save my money and pass on the emu oil. I'll put it in the category of the metal bracelets and magnets. ) I have found that the only topical treatment that helps is Mineral Ice (now that I have used products with oleoresin capsicum to the point that they are ineffective). The Rite Aid equivalent brand is not equivalent at all. My mom had the name brand and I bought the $3 cheaper Rite Aid brand. I did a comparison and the name brand one is WAY WAY better. While the spray of a stronger menthol name brand product doesn't work for more than 2 minutes 9literally 2 minutes).
