Guest guest
W I have to admit, this was a new thing for me and I truly believed, at the beginning, it was bogus. When I was being evaluated, the therapist took my neurological pulse and explained that a " normal " cycle should be between 8-10 seconds. Mine was recorded at 21 seconds. He has been working with me for a little over 2 weeks now (twice a week)-the sessions are about 30 minutes and the manipulations are minimal, at most. But lying there, I can actually feel things happening. I have more energy already and my last pulse reading was 18. Once we get to 12, we are going to add aqua therapy. It was explained to me that when a pulse is that sluggish that there is a lack of energy, more pain, and an overall feeling of " yuck " . Although doctors generally recommend exercise, I was told that it takes up to a week to recouperate from even the simplest exercise. I was impressed when he told me about the sluggishness as it described my condition completely. I would suggest it, if you can, it's making a difference in my life.
