Ketemine has also been very helpful to a lot of people, not just used for

" horrible things " . I personally know of someone who got help with their nerve

pain using ketemine. FYI.

Hi Caitlin,

I also use Ketamine, 200mg twice a day. Sometimes I have taken more and

regretted it because it took me into a trip that I cloudn't wait to ge out of!

It has helped me quite a bit and when I tell people I am on it and they know

what it is they seem surprise. I talked with some people in Europe that take it

for their pain, they said it's common over there, here the FDA is very

controlling of it and only allow for specific doctors to give it to their

patients.

Since I am taking it along with my other meds for my pain I thought I'd say hi

and let you know there is someone else here that takes it too!

Sincerely,

Doug

Hello,

I have RSD and am on the waiting list for " Ketamine Infusion Therapy " .

It will be 5 days of continuous Ketamine through an IV, then followed

with an oral dosage to keep a certain level in my blood. I had

" Lidocaine Infusion Therapy. " last November and the doctors feel I'd

be a good candidate for the Ketamine. I know that this isn't a cure,

but can offer varying amounts of pain relief and the length of time it

may last.

They say it is kind of like rebooting your central nervous system. I

was interested in knowing if anyone has had this treatment done prior

to their oral dosage or if it could be started with an oral dose .I

know the members in this group can understand that even a little pain

relief is a huge thing for us. I truly cannot remember what it is

like to be without pain, as sadly I am sure many of you feel as well.

Thank you for your time and I do pray that we can all enjoy a day

filled with less pain, " A Good Day " . ~Janice

Hi Janice,

Yes it has helped me, although it seems like everything thing else I have I

get used to it over a period of time and it doesn't have the same effect as it

once did.

Everyone is different Janice so it maybe what your looking for, maybe not, you

never know till you have tried. Heck, I tried everything because I didn't want

to be in this pain anymore. Some meds worked better than others.

I wish you didn't have to wait that long! My thoughts are with you!

Sincerely,

Doug

anxious as I've waited almost a year for this treatment to start. [Non-text
