Have you ever been put on Reglan or any other medicine for nausea and vomiting? I have to take Reglan 3x a day or else I can't eat. I found that I gained weight after I started taking medicines regularly for fibro and for my diabetes. Love and gentle hugs, Debi/So. Guest guest
Hi Debi, I never even thought to ask about nausea medication. I will ask my doctor as soon as possible. Thanks for the idea! I know that some of my medications have caused some weight gain in me. I'm glad I eat very healthy or I probably would have ended up gaining more weight from the medications.. All my clothes are tight lol. Love, Becky --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Find them fast with Yahoo! Search. Guest guest
Re; Migraine headaches. I had, in the past(nineteen eighty-nine through two thousand five had been getting migraine headaches every week, sometimes, the entire week was one huge headache. I had just taken the over the counter remedies. Then went to the Doctor, he asked me if I used I had used any diet soft drinks or 'Equal' additive to your coffee in the morning. I told him I do not drink soda but I use Equal all the time. He said; Stop using the Equal and find another without Aspartame in it. I took his advice, and slowly the migraines were disappearing. By May of the same year the ceased entirely.Who knew it was an additive that was the culprit? I read recently, Equal was found to be a safe additive to coffee, cakes,etc.....Guess who did the study? Well the FDA could not hide the secret ,the makers of Equal backed the funding for the " study " Amazing, who can you trust at the FDA? It is supposed to be an " independent " entity, what happened? /New York /New York --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage. Guest guest
Thank you Cheryl, You never stop, do you? I may not participate/share much, but I do read the posts. I have found myself on a downslide for awhile, stumbling into walls sorta speak, w/Dr's. We live in a very small town, and the medical feild is very limited. Since I can't drive and it's very difficult for my husband to take time off, in time to drive 1 1/2 hrs. to the nearest decent Dr. and I wouldn't even call what I've see so far decent. They never have the time, they have to make that quota, make you wait, then rush you out. I'm finding myself getting more and more depressed. I've seen 4 ortho's. so far, as I'm sure you already know, none will do TKR's. They want me to wait till I'm 60+. The last one gave me shot's of cortisone, which did help ease the pain to 1/2 the pain. That was Aug.22, so I guess I go back for more, or vigorisly start looking for a top notch Ortho. my O/A and R/A, are getting out of control as well, with the cooler weather. I'm finding myself on the down- side more than up. I have found myself trying to stretch more, I know that's a plus, my fybro. isn't out of wack yet, kinda stange, but it might be some of the new meds. my new Rheumatologist has me on. prednasone, amatriptalene, folic acid metatrexate. PLease forg- ive my spelling, it's late, I can't see very well, and my meds. are in the other room. I'm sorry to go on so long, you are so busy. I start out always with one thing on my mind, and go else where, many else wheres. I finnaly got my catheter out after 2 weeks, and still have little bits of blood. What a relief though, it hurt all the time, It was such a pain. I need to talk to you, or get some advice, but mabe in the next couple of days, just e-mail me when things slow down a bit, what a joke right! slow down, between the group and holidays, I'll bet your at one of those calgon moments, bless your heart. I wanted to send an e-card, but was told awhile back that they are unexcep- table to send to the modorators because of the amount of mail you have to go through, I totaly understand. Well, I'll close, but I hope you have a joyous Christmas. Sincerily, Connie Byrns
