First of all Terri from NY and I had that same thought when we met in March, we

both didn't know what to expect, and had never met anyone we had talked to over

the internet, but we had a lovely time and she is a sweetie. And she told her

mom to relax I wasn't a serial killer. lol. My husband is 6'4 " . My children

are extremely tall for their age. I seen a commercial where Shaq says he was

6'2 " in the 5th grade, I laughed and told my 11 year old that if he grew 5

inches in the next year he would be as tall as Shaq. My 13 yr. is 5'11 " (will be

in 8th) and my 11 yr. old is 5'9 " (will be in 5th) my 9 year old is just a few

inches taller than his other classmates, (so far)!

I loved being held picked up. Short men in my

experience had a complex and I enjoyed being pampered!

I can't imagine being tall and not climbing to get

things down etc! is your hubby taller or shorter than

you?

Good girl! Don't over do it. Aren't you in awe with what kids can do? I was

like a bull yesterday after the kids for spilling a bucket of beads ALL OVER

THE LIVINGROOM. LOL. I am still waiting for them to put their dishes in the

sink without being asked. At least it happens once in a while. I try to

remember to praise them when they do, but sometimes I think to myself, " its

about time! " LOL AND they love to leave the milk out. I just hate that! Warm

milk. It costs a pretty penny these days for a gallon of milk and boy do we

go through it. Oh, yesterday I found a handfull of chex mix on my piano keys,

fun fun. It is okay to say " ENOUGH " . Of course, I yelled it...Love, Ingy

To keep busy? Well, I have been working, but today I am already bored here at

home. It was nice to get out to Wal Mart, but now I am back home and bored.

The kids are watching cartoons. I will play some computer games for a little

while, then maybe read. I don't want to get tired enough for a nap, though, or

else I will have a hard time sleeping tonight.

I know what you mean about not being ready. In some ways I have been ready all

along, but now I am getting that " not yet " feeling. It is just so overwhelming

sometimes, a life changing experience. I am ready to see her precious little

toes and face and fingers, though! And ready to have the surgery over and done

with. I'll probably be on morphine again for the first 24 hours, and it does an

OK job with the pain, but it never takes it away entirely. I find that the pain

pills a few days later tend to work better on the pain, plus it has had a chance

to calm down by then. Jon will be spending the night in the hospital with me

the first night, which is good since we will have her rooming in.

Well, I am off for now. Talk to you soon. Love to you -
