Hi Jen

Kudos, for having your story on their website. Just in

case anyone is confused, it is the one that says

" Jeanette, " not the one written by " Jenna. "

It was beautifully written, and I'm sorry all of this

has happened to you.

I hope other members wish to tell their story on their

website, please follow their instructions.

Once again, well done Jen.

Kaylene

Jen,

Not only is this awesome news, but you wrote an awesome first-person account

of what it's like living with chronic pain. I read your contribution, as well as

those of several others, and yours stood out by far (and no, I'm not just saying

that).

I'd never been to this site before, and I found it very interesting. I'm

definitely going to return to it when I have the time and explore more.

Thanks for sharing.

Hugs,

a

a,

Thank you so much for that compliment. If anything, I hope that

just going to the site to read my story brings more people to the

site. What the AFS is doing for people with Chronic Pain is

fantastic. They even got that doctor that was accused of basically

being a " dealer " out of prison! It felt like such and honor to have

my story appear there. I also really like to write!

They also support grassroots efforts all over the country to raise

awareness. And I'm proud to say that they asked me to join in their

advocacy efforts in a more involved way. I was already an advocate

(you can sign up online at no cost), but I will be talking to one of

their advocacy officials today about jumping in further. You all

know it's my dream to help and make a difference.

I encourage all of you to go on and find out if your Representatives

support the National Pain Care Policy Act. This act could make big

waves in the fair and adequate treatment for ALL of us! If they

don't, ask 'em why! (Sorry mods, if this is political, but it

affects us CP'ers in a big way!) By the way, our incoming Governor

here in OH helped co-sponsor this bill!

Also, go on and write your story. Make your voice heard too! Let

the world know who you are and that you are NOT going away! Let

them all know that we all suffer and struggle, but that we are still

human beings with hearts and feelings and families.

Much love,

Jen
