I am trying to convince MD crohn's, AP due to bacteria. So I did a breath

test

today. Any feedback on this? I have to

ready for next step. These MD's are like

trying to move mountains if it against

" usual practice " , which I sure most of you

already know. I am an RN so I have hung

in there along time with the traditional, but I am trying to " help him see

the light " , maybe make it a little easier for someone else. DI Happy New

My Dear Sis:

What a lovely surprise. We wish you a Happy New Year too. It sounds like you have been a busy lady, congratulations on your graduation from college. It is sad that your sister has MM, and we will all pray that she gets well. I belong to the MM group, and people are living much longer now with all of the new treatments. Do you mind if I ask you if your sister had breast implants?

Please stay close, because we miss your notes...love you...Lea

Happy New Year

Hello dear friends,I haven't posted in a long time, and have missed you. I hope that everyone is doing well. Since my last post, I graduated from college which I started working towards while I was sick from my implants. I got through it with the help of the wonderful women at this site. I had shared with everyone that my sister was fighting Multiple Myeloma, and she continues to fight with everything she's got. She's had two stem cell replacements which didn't help, and a bone marrow transplant. She also became a grandmother for the first time in 2009 and she is so happy with her little grandson. We also won a five year battle against the town we live in. They had abused their power at our expense, but in the end the truth prevailed.I'm still working at a job that I don't enjoy, but during a time when so many are not working, I am thankful for the paycheck. I am going to do my best to read the most recent posts and get back in the groove on this site.Sis

Hi Lea,

My sister didn't have implants. I'm not quite sure where her chemical exposure

came from (because she has told me that this type of cancer only comes from

chemical exposure). She does live in a development that was actively being

farmed right before they started building the houses - and all sorts of

pesticides are sprayed on crops. She also lives in a town with many concrete

factories and she said the dust gets all over everything, even inside the house,

and so I've always been suspect of that as well. She also said that she used to

work with her husband on occasion and used some sort of toxic product and then

after she was done, she read a warning on the back that said just one exposure

with the skin could cause cancer - and she didn't protect herself. There are so

many things we come in contact with that we don't know about, though, so it

could have been anything.

Oh, Sis:

I did not want to ask that question; however, so many breast implanted women have developed MM. It sounds like your precious sister was exposed to some harsh chemicals ,and that could have caused her MM. Many of the people in the MM group are men; however, many are young women. I would not mention breast implants in this group, because they would probably kick me out. I am positive for MGUS, and we hope and pray that it will never progress to MM.

Thank you, for being so gracious...love you....Lea

Hi Sis!

It's really nice to hear from you again. Congratulations on your college

graduation!

I'm sorry to hear about your sister's continuing struggle with MM.

I'm also thankful that you are working still when this economy is so bad.

It's good to see you and I hope we will continue to hear more from you. How is

your health?

This world is so full of chemicals...just horrible!

The missionary that is staying with me from India right now made a comment about

how much cancer there is in America, so much cancer, and then he said, " It's the

chemicals, no? "

Everyone knows it....

Hi Patty,

My health is ok. It goes through good and bad spells, and the bad spells seem

to coincide with my stress level. Also I seem to eat healthier in the summer

because everything is fresh and in season, so right now I'm not eating the way I

should. I'm still much better than I was when I had implants, though. That was

a total nightmare. I'm still so thankful when I look in the mirror, because you

honestly can't tell that I ever had them - Dr. Feng did such a great job on my

explant.

Hi Lea,

It's ok to ask that question - I do remember you mentioning the MGUS. I was

tested for that and thankfully was negative.

Love you,

Sis,

I'm sure that you will continue to get better over the years. It seems to be

such a long, slow process. But our bodies truly want to be better, given the

chance, and it sounds like you know how to listen to your body.

Good to hear from you! So glad you wrote. I'm really happy for you that you

had such a great outcome.

Hugs,
