I left my house this morning at 6:30am to go shopping for Christmas. They had some good sales at WalMart from 7-9. Including a mountain bike, 26", for my daughter. $40. I was just gonna get that. But I did get a few more things. My girlfriend and I shopped there for 20 minutes and waited in line to check out for 1 hour. duh. Then we went to a new store that just opened, AJ . I got alot of fun toys for my boys there. Alot of Spiderman things; walkie talkies, fishing rod and tackle boxes, construction outfit (hat, gloves, tool belt, measuring tape, etc). All of this was $10 each. Then I got other stuff there too. THEN we went to Target. I got myself some Christmas decor (woodland style; rustic.) and other stuff there. All in all, I got home at 1:30. That is 7 hours out and shopping! I felt really good. And as far as my swollen feet go, I figured it out myself. I had started drinking alot of pepsi just lately. I mean alot! I stopped and started drinking some water instead. Tada. My feet are doing real good now. So, I guess it was all the sodium. Cool. Well, I thought I would brag a little. I'm thrilled. I did good and shopped; got alot of stuff; got out with a friend and just feel really good. WAY cool!! You know, in all my 35 years I have NEVER ventured out on Black Friday (I shudder as I think about it!). I do have a friend though who makes her husband drive her to Target at 5:30 each year to stand in line for their great sales. They don't have a lot of money (hell who does??) so this really helps her out. I haven't talked to her in over 2 years, now. That stinks. I hope she is okay. She didn't have fibro, but major arthritis all up her spine. Hmm. I should call her, or at least find out her new number. *thinking aloud* Anyway M, I'm so glad you had a great day! Now... here... here's my credit card, go get some things for for me... and the wrapping paper is in the bedroom behind the dresser with the mirror..... hahahahahahahahahhaaaa!
