Guest guest
Hi Donna- Sorry- I don't rmr who started this thread.... Have you tried magnetic therapy? Its a little unconventional but worth a try. Percocet was the only thing helping for the pain I had in my arm, and like yours its a narcotic so the Dr. reduced my rx to once a day (for night- so I could sleep) I was taking tons and tons of Tylonol. My friend gave me two magnets to tape on my shoulder and it does not take the pain away, but it does make it bearable enough for the Tylonol to work. My sister uses them for headaches (she does not have NF2- so they are much less severe than yours) and my friend used them when she had sugury on her knee. Like me, it made the pain bearable... Granted, walking around with 2 magnets taped to your head is not the most attractive sight, better to use in bed. But try it, can't hurt... peace- JJ
