Guest guest
He said his experience has been that children who have undergone chelation can take a lot longer for their immune system to show improvement. But it is not always the case - many kids have gone and seen improvement despite it. I guess my question is a little confusing now that I read it. Is it too late for my son to try this protocol if he has done the DAN thing (including chelation)? I am under the impression that Dr. G thinks the protocol will not be effective if chelation has been tried in the past. Is this correct? Thanks! > > If your child is 11 and has done chelation??? Guest guest
It's never too late. My son was 11 when he first saw Dr. Goldberg. He had done some of the DAN protocol selectively. He went through chelation prior to starting and before the DAN docs started doing it because he had high levels of arsenic from spraying on a golf course where we lived. A doctor that specialized in toxicity managed the chelation so it was a bit different than what I've heard some of the DAN docs do but still not something Dr. G would have recommended. While I understand that Dr. G is concerned about long-term damage, I don't think anyone could truthfully say that it was ever impossible for a person to improve with the proper treatment.
