Guest guest
Hi Lynn,…thanks for thinking about me! I have been away for so long I wasn’t sure if anyone still remembered me! I have downloaded a picture of me and Steve [hubby] over in the group photo page. I’ll add the rest of my family soon. And……..I still have those books to send to you. are you still handling the lending library? Are you still at the same address? If not, e-mail me privately. I guess I hadn’t read about your grandson. I hope it isn’t anything serious. {{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}} I remember Sharon talking about bilberry for eyes now, thanks for the reminder. Any particular brand? Loved the recipe! Thanks! Glad to hear from you. EYE PROBLEMS I have found if I take my bilberry twice a day My eyess are better. ABOUT MY GRANDSON -- has not gotten any news but they are running all kinds of test on him. His next appointment with the neuro is March 6 and they should have some results then and maybe a dx. ok THE RECIPE this is from depression times but I think it is a good recipe. RECIPE FOR PRESERVING CHILDREN Take one grassy field, 1/2 dozen children, 3 small dogs, a pinch of a brook and some pebbles. Mix the children and dogs well together and put them in the field, stirring constantly. Pour the brook over the pebbles. Sprinkle the field with flowers, spread over all a deep blue sky, and bake in a hot sun. When brown, remove and set away to cool in a bath tub. Speaking of recipes I am trying to come up with a better way for us to share our favorites I guess I could make a file but the way I understand the files you would not be able to add to it. But I am still trying to come up with an easier way to do it. Guest guest
I take 1,000 Mg of bilberry daily. I really notice it if I stop taking it. I went to the Dr the other day (new Neuro) and he was impressed with my vision (at 51 years young!!) He was *not* the type go in for supplements but I told him about them, and he also was impressed with my manual dexterity, I told him it is because I take Bromelain, and also because I spend so many hours at the PC, many of them typing! This was the same one who looked at my MRI online and said it was "very impressive" Blessings Akiba Pragmatic Visionary Thy Feet, My Feet Dance the Dance of Divinity http://www.twinflames.com I remember Sharon talking about bilberry for eyes now, thanks for the reminder. Guest guest
Hi n,……..yes its Jackie contrary to what my e-mail says, lol! Is there any difference between what kinds of bilberry to use, do you think? It sounds like what you buy is more along the lines of being holistic? Guest guest
I do not really know. I have a cousin back east who has MS, and uses one from i-health tree, I think, but says it really helps. My guess is that most of the varieties do. My neurologist, who is also a Chinese Herbalist, got me started on it, so I guess that is a definite recommendation. Love to you, (grin!), n RE: general chit chat with a neat recipe Hi n,……..yes its Jackie contrary to what my e-mail says, lol! Guest guest
I take a pancreatic enzyme mix that includes bromelain, and I think it works for me--no bit scientific links on it--I know you are all crushed! Love, n RE: general chit chat with a neat recipe Thanks Akiba! I’m going to ask hubby to pick some up for me. My Dr. is pretty open to what ever I want to do, natural or otherwise. Do you get any stomach upset or side effects from taking the Bromelain? My typing hand is getting worse everyday, and I only have 1 usable hand, and its my left one that I’m afraid has developed some arthritis. Guest guest
Hi Jackie The Holiday's are over and now I can't wait until Spring gets here again. I had to fill out my yearly health update for my disability company today and I am alway's very careful what kind of info to give them. My neurologist does great with the rest of the info they need. Thank goodness. Bill Jackie Hanan wrote: Thanks Bill,…..nice of you to welcome me back! How are you doing? Guest guest
I do not get any adverse reaction from it (unless I forget to take it LOL) I get mine on the net, best price ever...this is what I ordered: http://www.doctorstrust.com/item/DT0311-3.html I take three a day, or if it is a really bad day I take two in the morning and two in the evening. This *is* a pretty high dose, I started with about half of that and worked my way up. All I know is I would have gone under the knife a long time ago if it weren't for it! And you can thank Challis, she is the one who told ME about it! That is, if she ever gets back online (We miss you sistahfriend!!!!)
