Hi Lindy Lou,

I'm so sorry you were alone for the holiday. That's sad. I know the holiday is over now, but you said that the same thing will happen at Christmas. What about helping out at one of the shelter's that serve a holiday dinner? I don't know if your able to do something like that, but it would be a help to others and you would not be alone. Just a thought.

I wish you were close to me cuz I'd bring you over here for Christmas dinner. This is the first year that I'll be away from my other children and grandchildren, which makes me sad.

I live in Brevard NC, and it's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Charlotte. We almost setteled in Charoltte but the humidity was too much for me. It's not so bad once you start up the mountains. If you go to visit your son let me know and maybe we can plan a get together.

i don't get to charlotte very often. last time was october 2000. i wish i could go every year, even a couple times a year, but i cannot.
