Guest guest
I'm lurking away....got my Provigil last week, and have had less fatigue. I feel more like getting up in the morning. I cut my pill in half today, because I was experiencing alot of dizziness (so what's new?)...I am still dizzy, and more sleepy tonight. So...back to a whole pill tomorrow. Thank you everyone for suggesting them! Gail/Kansas Diagnosed at last 11/

Guest guest
I am doing quite well. Guest guest
I am home, reading emails every day even while gone. Doing fine. Need to get my meds done tomorrow for the week. I had a nice quiet visit last week but it was nice to be with family. My last post--- That used to be ME and if you keep going down past the group addresses you will see the pictures. My favorite books are suspence but if I read about MS I would prefer factual Medical with some real life stories included if there is such a book out there. -- HAPPINESS and BUTTERFLIES Lynn Intuition is part inspiration & part educated guess, TRUST YOURS It's time to check in with the group, please. Guest guest
I am still amongst the living. Just lurking. My whole family has been sick for the last few weeks. I am drowning in "sick laundry", so trying to get caught up. My little one, (6 months on the 12th) has been miserable, so requires a lot of extra TLC. Physically I feel better than i have in several months. Sx's hit me hard after was born, but seem to be easing a bit. Elavil has been wonderful for my pain and is giving me a deeper sleep that I really need. Right now, I am just having some vision problems that come and go, some dizziness, tolerable pain, and mild fatigue. I have much more energy right now. Hope it lasts awhile! While I'm here, want to say congrats on moving to your new place Akiba! I'm missing Challis like the rest of you. laundry is calling me! Guest guest
I am here a reading everyday. I have had fatigue through January. My kids have been sick and so have I so that just adds to it. I have balance and cognitive issues especially when I am really tired. My neuro prescribed Provigil but the insurance company doesn't cover it for MS fatigue. Neuro gave me a month of samples and we are apealing. Dr. is going on a long vacation out of the country on the 15th and I am a bit worried I won't get my meds. I have to fill out an apeal paper today so I may be asking for help and advise on it. mae Reply-To: MSersLife To: mserslife Subject: Check In Time pleaseDate: Sun, 5 Feb 2006 18:49:43 -0800 (PST) It's time to check in with the group, please. Guest guest
I've been reading messages sometimes. My fatigue is so extreme that it often affects my ability to think. I still have a lot of weakness. I have this chronic cough that is starting to send spasms into my stomach which sometimes makes me vomit. I have a question: What would you consider to be a hardship in your life? Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I am here. I am not able to check email as often. We are swamped with our son's health now and my own health struggles. I am just starting on copaxone after being taken off of betaseron. I really don't like the feeling of the shots and the site soreness. I am currently struggling most with numbness- my face, legs and hands. We are in holding on our son on. He's had his biopsy and they are testing his DNA - we should know by March which muscle disease it is. He's been barely walking and in quite a bit of pain. That on top of two other children and homeschooling - we are swamped here. Please keep me in the group - I check email and respond when I can. Lots of love and encouragement to everyone. Guest guest
Hi Sharon and all,........funny you should ask this now, because last night I was thinking I needed to come out of lurking mode, and start joining in again! :-) For the newbies, I am Jackie from Oregon, I've had MS since 1981, but didn't get a definite dx until 1995. Mine has been a slow progression, went from MS, to Transverse Myelitis, back to MS diagnosis.I am now pretty much confined to my house. I can walk with help, and when I go out I use a wheelchair. I have increased fatigue, and live with constant pain. My legs are the worse, with arms coming in a close second. I'm not on any MS meds, but I take diazepam for the spasms, and pain medicine helps a little with the pain. I also have FM, and a few other autoimmune illnesses to make sure all body systems are dysfunctional. Lol,........humor is a must with any illness. Another thing I want to say about MS, is it is the strangest illness to have with all its weird sympotoms. I'll share about some of the ones I've experienced in another message, but I just wanted to say Hi, and WELCOME all the new people. Smiles, Jackie > > It's time to check in with the group, please.
