Guest guest
Hi - My child has been on Valtrex for about 25 days. I noticed he's had about 10 little red bumps on his behind and he's a little red down below. Is this what yeast looks like? Behavior wise... he's into EVERYTHING!! And not listening or following directions. Don't know if it's age appropriate behavior or not (He's 3 years old.) He's always like this, but it seems more exagerated lately. Are these things related to Valtrex and/or yeast? Someone else on here just asked this same question, but WHY would Valtrex kick-up yeast if it's an anti-viral?? They seem unrelated. Also - I should mention that he had a blood-draw lab test for yeast and it was negative before we started the Valtrex last month. Is there a better test to check for yeast rather than blood? Thanks!SP
