Debbie,

That's true, I can't help but think of the Rams as from LA, and they've

probably been in St. Louis for a long while now, huh?

Janet -

I'd guess that our St Louis contingent (Meg among others)

might be feeling differently today. :-)

Not a NE Fan here but a REDSKINS Fan!! I expected the Rams to win but what a

game! The Rams played like a bunch of rookies! Pats looked pretty good!

Yep!! Me too. I was actually in St Louis for a full night before I

realized why the entire plane cheered when the pilot announced that

they'd won the playoff game. :-)

Clearly I don't follow sports much ...

After watching the crushing defeat in 1997, I never thought this day would

come! GO PATS!

Kate,

What was the final score in '97?

I was 8 months pregnant with Juli and I only have fleeting memories of

watching the game! Some fan (Fair weather fan is what it's called!! LOL)

Kate,

I recall that '97 was against Green Bay. I'm going to have to find out.

I do recall that '86 was a blow out against the Chicago Bears. I think the

final score was something like 46-3.

I don't remeber the score, but I'm pretty sure it was against Green Bay, and

it wasn't close. I was in college and was at a large Superbowl party. When

it became apparent that the Pats had no shot whatsoever of winning, I think

we became more interested in the beer than the game. It was ugly, though.
