You are using the best codes. However.... when 'the wound is essentially

clean and little to no debridement is necessary... " you have to be careful.

Remember, 97601 specifically states " selective debridement " which means that

if you are not performing this active service for 8 min or more, you can not

bill this code. In that case, if you are only changing bandages, consulting,

etc. you can not bill for your time.
