Guest guest
Its not often we can say that we have met someone that has touched our lives in a way that affects and alters the way we live and think. I have had that experience though, and gratefully it is one of our fellow MSers. Akiba, who I met on here, is probably one of the most compassionate people anyone can have the great pleasure of meeting. It was through her never ending and sincere support that I have maintained my own courage and composure. From Jerry's heart attack, thru his stroke, and this latest trail of tears, she has been the one that kept me sane, held me up when I felt I had no back bone, sent my prayers when I needed them, and listened to me whine, cry, complain, and vent, all without a second thought. This latest blow was the kicker tho, because she, without so much as a waver, offered my girls a home. We have never met in real life, yet she is extending herself and putting herself out to me and my family. How much more can anyone ask for? To have received this kind of blessing is so much more than a dream come true. Can I explain how our meeting transcends so much more than what seems real? No, probably not. Suffice it to say, she has changed my whole idea about the world. She has renewed my faith in humanity. She deserves so much more than she has received. She is a friend, a sister, and a mother all rolled into one package. The best of all three combined. Akiba-you are wonderful. We all love you. Never ever change-above all else, stay true to yourself. My best to you. Love Yahoo! for Good - Make a difference this year.
