Guest guest
Thank you all for welcoming me to the group. The encouragement here is awesome! Leanne, I know you are facing some tests and hope all goes well for you. You asked about my dog. Max is a mixture of daschund, Jack terrier, lab, probably hound dog or whatever. He is a very strong 23 pounds and is very trying some days when I am alone at home and my hubby is at work. But he is a wonderful dog. I also remember some remarks from Sher, Joyce and probably others but please forgive me if I left someone out. I know I will get to know more of you as time goes on. One of the things that really has been bothering me concerns someone in my family. On August 23 of this past year, my dad was having shortness of breath and was admitted to the hospital. Later he was transferred from Dalton to Chattanooga where he underwent OLB. He was diagnosed IPF. On Sept. 14, he passed away because of IPF. This has truly been devastating to me because I also have it. He was never even diagnosed and then 3 weeks later he is gone. He was always much stronger than me. I asked his doctor if he had ever heard crackles in my dad's lungs and he said no. So I am thankful for 9 years of living with IPF. This is all I wanted to say because I have been grieving so much for him. He was only 73. I don't want anyone to feel scared that something could happen to someone in 3 weeks. I know God has the plan for all of us. Sincerely, Jane
