Guest guest
HI KIM, How good to hear from you. How is Tom doing?? We have been worried about y'all. Carolyn took things so to heart and personally. I don't know the exact reason she decited to leave but the day she told us good by her daughter was shot in the head while riding her bike. she is 31.. We are all so sad to hear this and Carolyn has left so I don't know how we will ever know how she comes along. You can go to the messages on the home page and catch up. type in her name and it will bring all she has posted up. Fill us in on Tom's latest reports. Is he still working? Sorry to be so nosey.. Love and Prayers, Peggy 9/04 ipf Florida we've been in the process of switching computers & I think I lost some info can someone pl ease explain " It's so sad that we lost Carolyn " does that mean what it sounds like?? Kim Carolyn and Gail Hi Gail, My computer will not let me save anything so I make a copy of stuff I want to save. It's so sad that we lost Carolyn. I have been with the group since it first started and Carolyn has been a very valuable asset and I am sorry that she is gone. My little dog {our dog} molly is such a loving thing. I have taught her to say I love you. If she wants me to get off of the computer and play, She will whine a little bit {a lot} and ask her to tell me what's on her mind. She will start saying I love you. She says it about 3 times before she gets it right. It brings tears to my eyes. Losing Carolyn brings tears to my eyes. I hope the group can learn to appreciate what valuable input Carolyn's information was to the group. I am going to miss her. I see my doctor {primary doc} tomorrow and will ask her about Anodyne Therapy. Hope you all have a good night. May god bless us all. Grey 10-05 IPF N.C. Guest guest
as you'll be able to see - kinda slow in replying - Tom's doing pretty good - been feeling a little under the weather the last few days - we go back to Rochester/Mayo on 2/19 for the last of the tests for transplant eval - hopefully we'll get good news after they finish poking & proding him. Tom is on disability now so the work he does is around here - he LOVES to ice fish & the ice has finally gotten good & thick - we usually go out as a family - went out this past weekend, was lots of fun. Not much else knew w/us. Kim Carolyn and GailHi Gail,My computer will not let me save anything so I make a copy of stuff I want to save. It's so sad that we lost Carolyn. Guest guest
Kim, I'm sorry but I have forgotten Toms profile. How long has he been in the testing process? I am supposed to start when I loose 15 more lbs. Just can't make up my mind. God Bless You both and be with Tom. Guest guest
that's okay we don't post much - he's 51 & diag 1/06 - we have 1 1/2 days of testing yet & then it is our understanding that they all meet & determine if/how good a canidate he is - we go on Mon 2/19 & 2/20 - they haven't told us/him anything about weight loss yet but who knows. So far just a lot of poking & proding for zillions of test. Thanks & God Bless you also Kim Carolyn and GailHi Gail,My computer will not let me save anything so I make a copy of stuff I want to save.
