Guest guest
Good afternoon to you all, I have been on a steep learning curve these past few days since reading your messages . Thank you all again . You can hardly imagine how silly I have been . Eating lots of capsicum ( some may call them peppers I think ) and broccoli and cabbage and cauliflower and drinking green tea and herbal teas was not a smart thing to do Tom . Anyway the pennies have dropped and I have started the journey towards becoming a new person . I think I can make that fairly wild claim given that to some extent at some level we are supposed to be what we eat . !! I have also been eating too much oatmeal . Not smart!! . Your messages are all pinned up in our kitchen . I intend to have an INR done each week for the next month and take on board the wisdom of maintaining a consistent diet as outlined so persuasively by Diann . You are all very good . Best wishes , Tom
Guest guest
Too Much Oatmeal?? Not smart??? is this true? About 2 years ago I switched from Omelettes and eggs benedict to Old Fashioned Quaker Oats (shot from guns) 3 or 4 times a week. Within 9 months, My cholesterol level dropped from 274 to 201. This was accomplished without changing anything else in my diet, and without any additional exercise. in fact, I exercised much less due to a confined illness for 2 months. What is too much Oatmeal, and what are the negatives? , Ellen, , , Diann Good afternoon to you all, I have been on a steep learning curve these past few days since reading your messages .
