There are plenty of scary drug stories and that is

just what they are stories. maybe isolated incident

a few months ago there was a Fentanyl scare a few

heroin addicts died when they used heroin cut with

fentanyl. Along with this One guy put a druggies

patch in his mouth and another tried to get the

fentanyl out of the patch s with hypodermic. the guy

who had it in his mouth was probably a suicide the

nitwit with the hypodermic was some kid being stupid

as it will not work . The Fentanyl in the heroin was

made legally overseas and brought to the US

illegally.

But the anti drug zealots made out to be some sort

of epidemic sweeping the nation just like the alleged

methamphetamine " " epidemic "

These are used to drum up suppport for the groups

Is funds and of course laws they also cause the

medical professionals to become more afraid of

perceiving.

I had a hard time getting of all thing Ativan

and Klonopin at the same time. after a drug scare a

pretty, popular (for a few reasons ) young blond

woman OD on a cocktail of drugs yet only heroin and

Valium were mentioned.

So I had to have my MD OK my Perception ! I was

also supposed to speak at forum but was banned

because I was going to say thing that did not fit the

anti drug agenda.

In realty very few people die from using prespcription

drugs or for that matter illegal drugs in comparison

to OTC pain relievers, Alcohol poisoning, and of

course nicotine use of any sort. But things like that

sell i know if the woman had been a Hispanic woman it

would not have made the news.

But each time this hits the news it sets us back.

I belong to an organization and have spoken. I am

hoping to write when I can. I have a VR system now,

it is not perfect. I am not used to using it and the

keyboard yet.

I think it is important that we educate people about

pain, pain meds and other treatments not what pain

does to us and those close to us how it feels to not

be believed or treated like some low life.

You are right if there was really something wrong

with Darvon, dravocet it would have been removed

a long time ago. Millions of prescriptions have been

written a few hundred died if that!

I do not know how many know about a med called

Palladone. It is a control released version of

Dilaudid, a fast acting very potent opiate. It has

been Suspended from the market because if you take it

with alcohol it can be lethal. Alcohol dissolves

the capsules beads. They are in ironically, i be live the

capsule is the same material as Kaidan !

Now who takes their Morphine with alcohol ?

I imagine some drink a glass of wine, or have a beer

a while after aking it to no ill effect.

I do not say it is a good idea, but i am sure it happens.

With Palladone all that had to be done was simply

say do not use alcohol while taking this drug period.

There is actually a law suit against Perdue because

some guy took palldone then drank. His wife is suing.

What I do not get is why it is even in court? The judge

should toss it as the guy should have read the warning and not drank, but stuff

like this hurts us.

On your Migranes with MRIs. If you have some one to

take you, ask your MD for a sedating dose of Ativan or

Xanax, along with asking if you can bring your own

earplugs.

Most MD's are understanding about things like MRIs and

other procedures affecting patients, with a lot of

medical condtions. MRI techs are very used to

people who have pain and complex condtions that's why

they are getting a MRI !
