Guest guest
Where is he located? Akiba Jeffery el (with note from group owner) I am not exactly sure of what I am asking. Our friend Jeffery el as you all know has MS. He is having a very difficult time. Today he had to call 911 two times because he fell on the floor and could not get up, Unfortunately, he is alone and has no one to help him. He does not qualify for home healthcare because his income is.....GET THIS,,,,,,$24,00 a year too much. He has spent the last 3 or 4 years trying to help other ms'er's......he now needs help and there is no one to help but us..........I am not sure what I am asking but so far Catholic Charities, the MS society and United Way have been of no help. He is all alone folks and needs our help....now. He is paralyzed most of the time. Idea's and thoughts are sorely required. Guest guest
Tom; is able to sit enough, our friend, Jeff, to order groceries and OTC meds on line? How about friends and neighbors nearby? Cannot some distant relative, cousin, someone help him out? I will post him as well; thank you, Tom, for all that you have been doing on behalf of Jeff! Guest guest
Akiba, I think he is in Miami; he has an electric cart and a larger income than mine, though not by much, but suddenly began to become paralysed, especially by sitting, which has limited his computer presence on line. He is on the second group named above. He is a real gem and has just practically done himself in helping so many. I plan on posting him--he can pick it up when he is able! Thank you for your concern; the only relatives he has, his parents, are, I think in Cincinnati. He is just the best person; what is happening to him has me so concerned. Thank you for your concern also, love to you and to all suffering from MS and its charming permutations! n Rojas Jeffery el (with note from group owner) I am not exactly sure of what I am asking. They also help people get cooling devices and scooters, etc. They might be able to point him in the write direction. Guest guest
Are there any friends nearby who could help, or any on this list who might live near him in Miami, who could or would help him, or their family members! Tom, please tell him about grocery shopping on line--a true life-safer--one can even get OTC meds! I myself would be in an institution were it not for my in-home support person and ordering the essentials (and luxuries) on line! I am on a list with him, and will write directly to him, tool, though I do realise that sitting for much time causes him paralysis! Guest guest
Dear Tom, I am adding Jeffery to my prayer list. Here in Indiana we have a service called Senior Services; now going by some initials; that send people out to help seniors and handicapped to care for themselves at home. They do a varity of different things from pesonnal and medical care to cleaning and shopping. The biggest problem with them is that there is at least a 3 year waiting list. I just thought this might be something to check into. HAPPINESS and BUTTERFLIES Lynntbayuk wrote: I am not exactly sure of what I am asking. Our friend Jeffery el as you all know has MS.
