Adult son of a BPD mother - Please help!

I haven't found any good ones. It's been a a year or so since I last

looked for one. I skimmed the forum and someone made reference to a

book " SWOE " or an acronym similar to that. They were making reference

to the full title of the book.

I am an adult son of a BPD mother.

Also, anyone know if California State has any low cost

Psychiatric/disablity care for her? She's unemployed. Her BPD

socially cripples her to the point she gets fired from every job

after 6-18 months. She has whittled her self down to 2 (BPD imposed)

guilt ridden children and a revolving door of 1 'best friend of the

month'. She comes from a large family and friends but her BPD

destroys everything she touches. I'm really worried she's struggling

so hard it leaves her completely distracted - I'm afraid she's going

to get seriously injured in a car crash.

This weekend sucked she effectively told me she was seriously

considering killing herself and I am one of the main reasons in her

decision. (I'm not a good enough son/friend/life preserver).
