CHARGE Family Weekend

Yup.. I want to do it again this year !!!

I have confirmed donations from the Knights of Columbus, Lions

and a couple others for money and help.. I did some advocasy stuff

for the guy that owns the three Subway Sub Shops in the county

and when he asked what he could do for me I said supply lunch on

one day when we do the weekend thing. I am working on getting a

large enough donation to just rent the entire resort this year too

(don't know if that will happen but if I can get it all the whole thing

will cost is transportation)..

So here goes.. I talked to my friend that owns the resort and the

only two weekends we could prolly do are the two last weekends

in June.. so those that are interested let me know.... you

guys better make it LOL....

For those of you that are new and don't know what I'm talking

about.. I live in the coastal mountains of Northern California (about

two hours north of San Francisco) and have a friend that owns a

resort up here, she gives us a discount on the cabins cause she

thinks our kids are great. So on the off years from the CHARGE

Syndrome Foundation conference I like to do a CHARGE Family

Weekend up here in the mountains... Three days of just hanging

out at a mountain resort.. cabins with full kitchens, pool,

playground for the kids, etc... I have already told Brown that

he WILL be here if I have to drive down to SF and kidnap him LOL..

But it's a great time to just hang with other families.. toss ideas

around... and just be with other that know what is going on...

WE had about 7 families when we did the first one two years ago

and I would love to have more this year...
