Guest guest
http://www.turnermedical.com/Nonin_Onyx_9500_Pulse_Oximeter.htm This brand/model was recommeneded by local medical supply company. They recommended getting online as they couldn't get for double the price. Same as Pulmonary Rehab used and Pulmonolgist for spot checks. $239.99 w/ free UPS ground shipping. I shopped around and this was the best deal on this model. It's +-2. Was warned absolutely don't get the 5500 model. Rehab recommended I get to try to pace myself and to better assess my activities and SOB. Doctor wrote prescription stating ILD and Ex (don't know if that meant Exercise or Exertion) Induced Hypoxia. Had to battle w/ insurance (BCBS) for coverage, but was told that my persistence paid off and would be reimbursed at 70% (out of network). Good luck w/ yours. wrote: My Kaiser Pulmo is going to prescribe a Pulse oximeter My question isdid you have to pay for yours (out of pocket)or was it just yourstandard co-pay?? also along the same vein most I have seen are in the+ or - 2% with the px ranging from $170 to $350/$400. Do you have anyrecommendations. Thx Peace to allUIP/IPF/LCH 5.06/1.07 No need to miss a message. Get email on-the-go with Yahoo! Mail for Mobile. Get started.
