The hospital department I took over was contracting an hourly rate of $75/hr

including doc. time. Travel was 5-10 minutes one-way and therefore was not

reimbursed. I have hired contract services for as much as $60/hr in another

hospital dept. I was in charge of.

Subject: inpatient rehab therapy

My practice is considering performing contract services to an

inpatient rehab facility. Are there any suggestions on rates? We

are leaning toward an hourly contract rate to include documentation

time instead of a per case or per patient charge. Does anyone know

what the going rates are now days in order to cover staff and

administrative costs? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike
