I will be involved with some of the implementation process and am interested in hearing from others who are part of the Meditech system. If your facility uses Meditech, would you be willing to share with me some words of wisdom? Insight into its pros and cons as you've experienced them from the Rehab standpoint? Suggestions relating to Rehab usage and implementation? I would also like to know if you are doing any electronic therapy documentation through Meditech, or if you are just doing scheduling, order entry, charges, etc. Please feel free to email me through the listserve or privately at kcederlind@... . Volunteer to go to their training programs. You will be better prepared to utilize the system if you are part of the initial training/set-up; future changes involving your department will also be easier. We use it for order entry, charging, email, as well as for our electronic documentation. Our therapists designed the documentation piece to suit our needs and we have modified it over time to meet changing needs. I'd advise you to stay intimately involved with the implementation process and get all disciplines involved in designing any documentation.
