Hey Holly, This is shellie. I have a hubby the same way.. I have bad eating habits too.. i like chocalate, pastas and bread..All the bad stuff.. And i hate salad.. I love tae-bo. It's seems like is the only one to "kick my butt".. which tapes do you have? i have an older Tae-bo that i use the boot camp one too.. :)westbrookholly wrote: Thanks! I have had alot of stress lately and I just can't seem to kick my bad eating habits! Not only that, but my

skinny boyfriend seems to be able to eat whatever and whenever he wants! Ugh! It makes me sick. I guess I could tell you a little about myself. I'm 21 and I live in a little town in Ohio. I have an apartment with my boyfriend, Zach, and am patiently waiting for him to pop the question! That is what started this whole tae bo thing! I want to be fit for him and for my "hopefully soon" family! I get so discouraged when I am "too tired" to work out or when I eat awful on a particular day! I just feel like I already goofed it up so I might as well make it worth my while. Then just eat or be extra lazy. Any of you feel that way?! I think I just need a little extra push! Hopefully you guys can motivate me to do that! Thanks for taking the time to Email me!!HollyShellie Cummins pooh4bearus@... www.pamperedchef.biz/shellsplace

Absolutely Holly! And it's a terrible way to think and I try not to let it happen too often.

Hi Shellie,

Do you ever just feel like you want to eat everything

in sight? I work in an elementary school with a little

boy that has cerebral party. I have been with him for

four years! I love my job! The worst part is that I

also have 10 co-workers that eat whatever they want...

cookies, candy, chinese, deli sandwiches from the best

deli around, everything bad! It makes it so hard!

Then we cook and bake alot with all our handicap kids!

Its just temptation! I am trying to do a slim-fast

thing, but I have goofed that up a couple times too!

BUT, I have to keep trying! I have the Fat Blasting

Cardio DVDs! Not sure what they are called! I hear the

bootcamp ones are good! How long do you workout? I can

make it through my whole DVD which is 45 minutes! It

about kills me and I am drenched with sweat, but I do

it!

hey holly, yes, i feel like i want to eat everything in sight -- so we have a bad moment.. i can't do the slimfast -- the powder stuff is ok.. i am lactose intolerant so I take lac-taid to help. My son has an aide in his 7th grade class -- he is moderate ADHD & autistic.. have some of the treats.. just a little.. my worst thing is fast food for me.. my hubby always side-tracks my best intentions.. my parents are coming out next week SO we will see how it goes.. my dad loves to eat. He says "i eat to live -- i live to eat." my work outs are varied -- if i do the my older taebo tape; it's 27 minutes then another 10 minutes to do crunches & pushups.. i can get through boot camp but it's almost an hour. Ugh! It will kick your butt. i just ordered 2 or 3 more taebo tapes from netflix. The alternate days, i walk my dogs for 30 min then another 10 minutes doing crunches. I am trying to do the

challenge tho''. OH boy! Holly Westbrook wrote: Hi Shellie,Do you ever just feel like you want to eat everythingin sight? I work in an elementary school with a littleboy that has cerebral party. Everything is always YMMV (Your Mileage (aka results) May Vary). But when I first started Tae Bo 7 1/2 years ago (it'll be 8 years in March) I did WW. Tae Bo was the only workout I would do consistently so that's all I did. Back then all we had were cardio options. So I did a Basic Live 5-6 times a week and then added the 8 minute a few weeks into it, then when the Live series came out, I started doing 2 basics back to back. I didn't start WW until April and that's where I start my weight loss from, since I didn't weigh or measure when I first started Tae Bo.

I started WW on April 1st and by June 26th I was down 30 pounds (the only reason I know the date was because it was when I first went to LA to meet . That was back when anyone could be in the workouts. I went down to film a couple of the Live workkouts).

It took 9 months to lose 75 pounds. Now I had been good for several years and kept it off, but then my eating became out of control again and I gained it all back. Now I'm FINALLY back in control.

I finally am eating based on appetite and stopping when I'm full so that has helped TONS! So since October I've lost almost 35 pounds. What I do now is cardio (Tae Bo) and strength (Bootcamp/Elite/Jari Love) depending on the rotation I'm doing during that time.

hiii everybody,

i just need a little information from all of u who lost 30 lbs or more.

what are the workouts u did ,what kind of diet and how long did it take to loose ?

thankx in advance.

Hi Ramya, diet and exercise are very important in weight loss, and a lot of will power and determination, alot of my workouts involved a lot of walking in the beginning, then I added taebo basic then when I was comfortable with this workout then I moved to the 8 minute workout,I also watched my fat grams and drank a lot of water, the weight started dropping off, then I was able to move on to the taebo advanced, started seeing results faster. Now this worked for me It may not work for anyone,I did something almost everyday, when I was not doing taebo I was walking, I did walk everyday regardless of the weather I just walked 6 miles a day, now I walk 10 miles everyother day that by itself is a challenge,I also do taebo ultimate abs and butt 2x a week and bootcamp 1x a week this works for me.You may want to give up DON'T EVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!! hi,

don't think of this as diet. diet do not work and in the end you regain the

weight. i will let you know what helped me loose weight couple of years

back. why don;t you join us on the challenge that is going on now?

1. i cut out all the junk food

2. I exercise 6 days a week.

3. Snack on fruits and raw vegetables.

4. Drank a lot of water.

5. eat a balance diet. (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, few nuts,)

6. take a rest day.

i can't remember the other.

hope other have more suggestestions for you.

you could also pick up a book from the library on nutrition and try to

follow.

i could also post what i eat if you need to see an example, i am almost a

vegan, but i eat fish about 1 every 2 weeks, so this may not work for you.

well let me know. i will be steping on the scale at the end of january

take care

Unfortunately there is no time frame as everyone responds differently. Some see results right away and others it may take a month or two before they start seeing results. How much you have to lose, your eating, how active you've been prior to starting, how your body responds to the workouts, consistency, etc. all play a factor. So what worked for Person A may not work for Person B. Now having said that, I know his newer programs do indicate that changes will be seen within 7 days and many of us have seen changes right away, but again some of the above factors also play into this as well.

I suggest using your clothes and tape measurer as the guide. While the scale *can* be helpful, there are so many other factors involved that can make it frustrating.

hey! i'm new to this thing and a little confusedi love billy blanks! i make him a part of my scheldule every day

how long did it take everyone to see results from using his programs?just wondering if i'm doing everything rightthanksAs Deb has said: " Fitness is a journey and it begins with the first step. "
