Guest guest
Makes sense. We were using Threelac when our strep/PANDAS issues started. I got rid of Threelac and used VSL#3 not knowing about the strep. What a nightmare! Kerrie No big wows for my son w/ the BH4 but no negatives either. I would stay far aya from the VSL # 3 as it contains a strep strain which seems to effect our kids. I as told that the strep strain in the VSL #3 and other probiotics was different than the strep in our kids gut but I found out thru lab testing that my sons ASO strep titer went up using VSL #3. His ASO titer was slowly coming down over 2.5 years of lots of supplements and chelation. The VSL # 3 made his titer rise which as very disappointing. Guest guest
It's a probiotic. The problem is that some probiotics contain S.Thermophilus which is a strep strain. It's supposedly a beneficial strep strain but for people with PANDAS it can cause issues. Anything with S. Thermophilus causes a full blown PANDAS flare that can take me months to calm down in my son. One cup of yogurt with the strain in it caused a serious regression in my son. To us, it's poison. Kerrie Now you've got me intrigued. What is this stuff.and what is it supposed to do ?

Guest guest
It's 900 mcg, one pill per day, in the evening. I started her slowly and built up to avoid die off, so I can't say any big positives or negatives. I get it from Payne.
