Guest guest
Gymmie - for those of us that are new to this group, can you give a run down of the challenges from last year? Thanks, 2008 Challenges Do folks want to do challenges again for next year?We can do the same concepts as before or add or change just let me know -- Gymmie in TexasIndy 500 May 25, 2008 Here I come! www.myspace.com/nascartaebogymmieExercise is the rent I pay for a healthy body. The higher the rent, the better the "house" I live in. I really like living in the "high rent district" and I bet if you just take yourself in hand and tell yourself you are going to do it and like it (or else), you'll end up loving the benefits so much that eventually you couldn't imagine not working out. Guest guest
This was what we did, in the summer it was shorter and we did 50 workouts.*100 Workouts*Abs 1x a week*Strength 2-3x a week*Water--at least 64 ounces*9 Servings Fruits & Veggies*Reduce Junk Food Eating Don't worry it's not a contest to do all 100 workouts or to do them the fastest. I count it out to average 4-5 times a week to account for folks who may only workout 5 times a week. And there are some extra days to allow for those who may have life hit them and they can't workout one day so they can still make it up. And if you don't get all 100 in that's fine too, just do as many as you can The idea came from another challenge we did where we just set out to do 100 workouts as fast or as slow as we wanted. I was thinking of adding push ups to it as well, I'll be doing them myself. I've been doing 50 and will bump it up to 75 and then up to 100.
