Guest guest
This is Celeste, Im up for the challenge Number 1 and number 6 its on now!!!!!!!*~*Gymmie*~* wrote: Any one up for Challenges for the New Year? These are the ones that we usually do, we can do all or just a few (and participation is always OPTIONAL!) and you can jump in at any time! Please feel free to post to the boards what you did that day or you can do it weekly! That way we can give encouragement! These will all last January 1st through May 31st! If you'll be out of town for New Years that's OK! Join us when you get back! 1) 100 workout Challenge-aim to workout at least 5 days a week to get 100 in by the end of the challenge. If you workout more days and finsih sooner, keep going! If you workout less, DON'T WORRY! Do what YOU can do and be proud of it! 2) Abs Challenge--do a workout that focuses on the abs at least 1x a week, it can be a Tae Bo workout such as Tae Bo Abs, Bootcamp Abs, Bootcamp Elite Abs, Abs and Glutes or a workout such as AL5, that has floorwork that focuses on the abs. Or you can choose another favorite workout from your collection. 3) Strength Training--if you're not already doing something here's your chance to start! Aim for 2-3 days a week (don't forget to give those body parts 48 hours of rest). AWT workouts (Aerobic Weight Training i.e. The Firm, 's Bootcamp Workouts. It's basically a workout that combines cardio with weights/bands) counts as well. Don't wait until you've lost the weight! By doing it now, you'll look even HAWTER once you get to goal and heck, might have to change it because of your body reshaping! 4) Water Challenge--aim to drink 64 ounces of water every day! If you currently drink more, then challenge yourself to increase it! Yes if you're not used to that much water you will become friends with the bathroom, but as time goes on you'll get used to it and won't be in there more than at your desk! If you're not used to drinking water, aim to get 32 ounces in and work your way up! 5) Fruits/Veggies--aim to get 9 servings F & V in each day! Tht's the new guidelines! It sounds like a lot, however it really isn't. For example, the average apple in the store is about 2-3 servings by itself. 1 serving of an apple is actually 4 ounces (very small). 6) Reduce Junk Food Eating--aim to kill the junk food habit! Aim to cut it down to 1-2 times a week! Or if the sweet tooth hits during the week, try for a Hershey's Kiss or bite size piece of chocolate! I think that's it! Let me know what y'all want to do! We can do them all or just a few, depends on what you want. And yes, for those who like 's Monthly Challenges, as they're posted I'll share and you can do those too! -- Be a F.R.O.G . °Ü°GLYSDI,Gymmie in Texas265.6/238.8/165SLD since 10/1/06FREE THE DOG, LELAND AND YOUNGBLOOD!www.freedogthebountyhunter.comhttp://www.myspace.com/nascartaebogymmie __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Anny, were you going to do any specific ones or all of them? <<I think that's it! Let me know what y'all want to do! We can do them all or just a few, depends on what you want. <<< I'd love to join in - I am so addicted to the Lives right now and I am only 8 lbs away from my original goal weight - nearly there! I'll probably go lower, but am so rapt to have lost over 60 pounds so far. :-) Anny -- Be a F.R.O.G . °Ü° GLYSDI,Gymmie in Texas265.6/238.8/165SLD since 10/1/06FREE THE DOG, LELAND AND YOUNGBLOOD!www.freedogthebountyhunter.com http://www.myspace.com/nascartaebogymmie

I've been gone a long, long time! I'm not even sure how long it's been! For those who don't know me, I'm . I'm 37 and I live in Texas. I am 6 weeks away from finishing nursing school! I have worked full time during all this, so I eat on the go and grab whatever is quick and easy, i.e. unhealthy! For over a year I left my house at 7:30AM and didn't get back home again until after 10PM. I need to lose about 25 lbs. I have a lot of Tae Bo tapes and DVD's but no time to do them. That is about to change! Yay! But, my sister and her 3 boys just moved in with me (they are ages 10, 8 and 4). So, working out is still tough (not as much room in my house these days!) but I'm going to find a way to do SOMETHING! I could use some motivation! I'm looking forward to being involved here again! I've missed you guys! P.S. Is still around?? Didn't she have a baby boy this year? Or was that last year?? Geez, I have lost track of time!! Guest guest
Hey ya'll!!!! It's been such a long time. I am happy to see so many new faces around here! Thanks to Sandie for telling me to pop in- I am feeling inspired already!! For those who don't know me, my name is and I live in NC. I am sneaking up on 30 in a few weeks I am one of the old school Tae- Boers that started back in 99. I lost 110 pounds over the course of about a year back then. All thanks to Tae-Bo!! Since then, I have had 2 more babies and yep, a lot of the weight is back! Right now, I am not Tae-Boing, but hitting the gym and working with a personal trainer (who is so hot, by the way, but that is a story for another day! LOL!). I have lost 30 pounds but am now STUCK, STUCK, STUCK! I am hoping that getting back into Tae-Bo will get things moving again! I would like to lose another 60 pounds. Yikes, that looks like so much when I write it down!! As for my kids- they are now 11, 8, 3 and 8 months. I definitely have my hands FULL. Part of the reason I work out at the gym and not at home with tapes is because I can never get a second's peace at home! LOL! I am going to have to start getting up before everyone else to get my Tae-Bo time in! I am sorry it's been so long since I updated! I had myself on no mail and would forget to check the site. I am putting myself back on email now. I look forward to getting to know the newbies- or the people who are not new but just don't know me Who else is still around? > > > > Any one up for Challenges for the New Year? > > Me! Me! Me! Guest guest
Hey ! It's good to hear from ya! I like hot PTs ! There's a gym behind my apartments here but I haven't checked it out yet...wonder if there are any hotties there. But of course I'd be too focused on them and not what I was to be doing *giggle* Everyone is so grown up! Definitely need updated pictures ! I'm not sure how up to date you are but Shellie had a baby back in July! His name is Rocco and he's so adorable! And in typical Shelllie style she was back working out in the gym barely 2 weeks later and ready to film the new workouts in September! 's closed the World Training Center and they're in negotiations with a new location. And of course, we're all anxiious for the new workouts! With all the toys includes in these workouts I'm going to need a gym myself to hold it all ! Hey ya'll!!!!It's been such a long time. I am happy to see so many new faces around here!
