Guest guest
I just got the call from University of Michigan. I will be having a pulonary vein isolation on 04/16/01 by Dr Fred Morady. Although I've only had 3 incidents of afib (much less than what it seems the rest of you have)I go into PSVT each time and the Drs strongly advised me to have this done. I was also told this is really my only option if I hope to have children. At this moment I have no desire to have children, but I want to keep my options open. I was told it will probably only require an overnight stay in the hospital afterwards. Has that been the case for those of you who have had this done? What kind of sedative or anesthetic were you given? I think I was given Versed during an EP study previously and that was wonderful. How did people feel afterwards? Thanks!
