Buffett Drs visit today Hi all, I must say, for the first time in a long time, I left my drs office at peace, feeling better about things than I have in ages. This is just my regular dr, no specialist but I

poured my heart out to him and he listened as always. I told him I don't want a heart lung transplant and that I feel like the Pulmonary's at U of MI are a waste of gas. He said Vicky, if you're sure you don't want a transplant then lets get you comfortable. He did say he doesn't think I'm ready for Hospice yet. He upped my steroids back to 30 mg a day. He said I'm one of the rare ones that respond really well to them, I breathe easier etc. He upped my Klonopin and he upped my Vicadin. He told me to enjoy my life and to come see him again in a month to see how I'm doing. He said quality of life is important too. I am still going to U of Mi on the 23rd to treat the Pulmonary Hypertension. When he told me those things, it was like.....having a ton of bricks lifted off me. So, I'm going to live my life, enjoy it, and when it's my time, I'll go home to my Jesus. I am happy. Vicky81856
