Guest guest
So sorry to read that you are experiencing skin sensitivity. I have had at least two flare ups that included that. It was such an odd and disconcerting feeling. A piece of fabric touching my abdomen could make me wince in discomfort. Unfortunately I have no advice for that one. I described it to my neuro but he didn't offer any suggestions to allieve the situation. After several weeks the sensitivity subsided. These days the burning in my calves is flaring up. It's like sunburn. And, my feet cramp and burn. I describe it as having razor blades in my socks. Yuck. --Mr. Dana F. Guest guest
I get the foot cramping to.It is awful,it draws my foot upwards and the pain ahhh. When I told the specialist at UCSF about the skin sensitivity he looked at me like I was crazy.I told him how I bought these cute jammies for my daughter.Well,my fiance put them on her and I was like ahh you look so cute, well she ran to hug me and I picked her up and shrieked in gut wrenching pain.It scared us all.At first I didnt realize it was the fabric so then I touched her again and the same happened,it was like it sent this electric impulse all the way up my arms to my body and my hands curled and started twitching. When I told this doc I started crying,it was a big deal to me.My fiance and I had to make are 3 yr.old take off her brand new jammies, and she thought she hurt me.It was pretty sad.So he says when im crying and tryn to explain,he says im depressed.Im like no im not.He ups my zoloft, then when I get the report it says im severly depressed.ughh.The sheet or blanket on me at night set it off as well.it hurts alot. Guest guest
Gee Dana...that sounds awful! Does say, a cool bath, or foot bath, or icing your feet help in any way? Does it feel worse when you walk? Or is it one of those strange sensory things that is constant whether you are on your feet or not? I'm so sorry. Did you ever try Reflexology? blessings, kate> So sorry to read that you are experiencing skin sensitivity. I > have had at least two flare ups that included that.
