Guest guest
This is the " Plum Island " theory..biowarfare gone awry..After 3 years of Lyme reading and research, I'm skeptical..as was my doctor, as is Pam Weintraub..Certainly there are similar bacteria (lepto, syphilis) in our natural environment and typically the intent of any biowarfare agent is far more rapid destruction.. I am a walking example of severe HPA and autoimmune disruption..very low TSH despite low thyroid levels..elevated GH..somewhat premature ovarian failure (after 3 mos of abx treatment, spontaneously ovulated). Unlike many with " clinical " diagnosis, have had EM twice.. strongly positive Igenex WB..positive standard WB..am now on 2nd round of heavy duty oral abx..Most of my initial symptoms were neurocognitive in nature with endocrine disruption and AI disease (Hashi's ..perhaps enceph..Graves..positive ANAs on 5 occasions). Someone commented on the " Lyme bandwagon " and environmental influence..It certainly isn't either or..One of the [somewhat] new hypotheses of the immune system(Th1/Th2/Th17) is that external " exposures " can affect/exacerbate the Th2 side of the equation..also the side that progesterone most likely (all data not in) assists with..my symptoms flare when I am exposed to many things...including estrogen, poison ivy, solvents (paint fumes), Fraser Fir and more...I see evidence for Lyme influence on both sides of the hypothesis..The ONLY thing that helped me was abx and it was from Oct-Feb before I came out the herx suffering and fog to finally feel better. > > > > Celty, I would like some support/proof for your statement that Lyme disease > > was engineered.
