I have an appointment to see my first EP Jan. 16th. We will discuss

medications and

other options I'm sure. This will be at the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston

affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Beyond my own situation, does anyone

have any questions for me to ask? I will try to find out " what's the latest "

in AF treatments.

Hi Rich,

As an experienced Afibber and if this was me I would be asking the

following.

24 Holeter tape , this is a must and a lot can be found from this test.

Asked the EP if you have any chance of an ablation success rates etc. How

many has your guy completed and what is cure rate running at.

If you not happy with the way your AF is being treated then asked about the

Dofetilide programme and the Azimililide tests.

I would also enquire if there was any damage to my heart.

Try and get as much as you can from the meeting and I find if I say if you

were me what would you do.
