Guest guest
Vicky, I think this is one for Jack Drum. I would find it hard to believe that Amiodarone precludes one from having the Maze surgery. The big question is if correct then why? Guest guest
According to a post on the Maze forum, the problem with amiodarone is with the minimal maze, and is when the right (?) lung has to be collapsed to get to the heart. With a lot of amiodarone you can have lung problems that prevent this.
