a question about supervision

Hi. I have a candidate in PT that is a new grad. She can have a

temporary license in 5-6 days upon accepting the job. The company

wants to hire the candidate, then she will persue permanent

licensure.

The problem arises with supervision. How can the company handle

having the new grad work part time in the home health division while

having to be supervised? Does a PT have to go with them?

Are there any creative ways to do this that would maintain ethical

and legal requirements and good patient care and be more cost

effective than sending out two PT's?

The candidate is very good but she doesn't know all the ins and outs

of handling the supervision issue and the company is trying to

investigate the issue. I am open to any suggestions. I am not a PT

so I hope this question is not too far off base.

Thanks!
