Guest guest
Carol! Thanks for the good words. I'm actually feeling so good that I am not too worried about the weight stalling. I've gotten to a point where I nearly enjoy my protein drinks. Okay. I do. There. I drink one 26 gram drink with vits and calcium and 1 bottle of Isopure (40 gm) and eat a high protein diet. My energy is much higher than it was a few months ago. Of course, I bet you know all that. Still it's odd in the beginning to lose so much weight and gradually adjust to it internally and externally. Hey hey, It's just a week to go for our friend Jayni. Jayni are you out there!? As for the stall in weight loss just keep the faith, keep up with the protein, water, vits and exercise and it'll soon start coming off again. Just a couple of minutes ago I had a call from the surgeon's office - my surgery has been postponed until probably March 12th. It seems the surgical tech's husband is coming home from Iraq next week and she is not working. I can understand that - I really can - but it doesn't keep me from being disappointed. I know that things happen when they are supposed to happen, but still... I had all my ducks in a row for the 1st. Leave of absence from work has been approved, we've arranged for someone to cover my workload, people to be with me at the hospital and afterward...I'm honestly more annoyed than anything. Oh well. I have to trust the wisdom of the universe, right? Jayni

Guest guest
Jayni Amen. Sometimes we have to remember we're not in control. And you know what? It could be a blessing in disguise. That tech will come back a happier, mentally healthier person and will be able to focus on you and YOUR surgery! Guest guest
Jayni Let me tell you. When I first was going to have surgery, the doctor who was going to perform it decided he needed a " vacation " and took time off. Then he FREAKING QUIT...and I am glad that he did cause he was burnt out apparently. There is a reason for everything my sweet. > > > > Thanks, Alisa.
