Guest guest
I agree with Gael..get those out! That is a HIGH T level for a woman!! Everything will resolve once it's out of your system. This is why compounding is so desirable..you can have a dose that is just for you..and transdermally is even more flexible. Surely they can remove them, because if someone had a severe allergic reaction they could die. Just wondering. Gael In a message dated 7/5/2010 9:39:05 P.M. Guest guest
My friend wanted hers removed and they told her it wasn’t possible. It would be like a surgery. And could make things worse. She went to the place near Palm Springs. Her testo was up in the 100’s also. They said that was ok. But holy moly! What is your E level, ? Guest guest
E is 100. Yeah, I didn't get the impression that having it removed would be an option. I'm seeing if I can get in to see another doc in my area that does pellets - may not make any difference, but current one is not nearly responsive enough. Doc had told me that some people convert T to DHT and that's what causes the hair loss. Supplements are saw palmetto, pygeum & nottle root. I've been taking them for 7 weeks and no change in hair loss. I guess I'm lucky that I started out with thick hair, but the thought of this going on for another few months makes me freak. Re too much P being the cause - I had not thought of that. I started w/ OTC P cream about 4 months ago because I was having a period every 2 weeks and hormone headaches. After a cycle or 2 of using P cream, things normalized. Sublingual P that I started with pellets didn't seem to do as well and I got a period 2 weeks again, so I started the cream again. Would that be anywhere near enough to be the cause? (about 30 mg/day; on 3 weeks/off one week) thanks Liz > > My friend wanted hers removed and they told her it wasn’t possible.
