I agree with Gael..get those out! That is a HIGH T level for a woman!! Everything will resolve once it's out of your system. This is why compounding is so desirable..you can have a dose that is just for you..and transdermally is even more flexible.

Is it possible to have the pellet removed?? Surely they can remove them, because if someone had a severe allergic reaction they could die. Just wondering.

Ackkk, this is what happened to my friend. Her hair fell out, acne, major aggression, depression. She also got meds for the hair falling out. The only thing she could do was wait it out. It took several months to calm down. I wonder if you got more E if that would help?

I started the sotopelle pellets at the end of april (E & T).my hair started falling out 2 weeks later. My MD gave me supplements to stop it, but it persists.I'm also having acne/hives on my chest, upper back & around my hairline.I've had a herpes outbreak which I have not had in years.I almost feel like none of the prescription meds that I take are working as they had been (acyclovir, synthroid, welbutrin, protonix).Pellets have not helped with energy or depression. My T as of early June was 122.I guess my libido has made it back on the charts, but who cares if you have herpes and zits and just want to sleep anyway?Any suggestions appreciated.

My friend

wanted hers removed and they told her it wasn’t possible. It would be like a

surgery. And could make things worse. She went to the place near Palm Springs. Her

testo was up in the 100’s also. They said that was ok. But holy moly! What is

your E level, ?

E is 100.

Yeah, I didn't get the impression that having it removed would be an option.

I'm seeing if I can get in to see another doc in my area that does pellets - may

not make any difference, but current one is not nearly responsive enough.

Doc had told me that some people convert T to DHT and that's what causes the

hair loss. Supplements are saw palmetto, pygeum & nottle root. I've been

taking them for 7 weeks and no change in hair loss.

I guess I'm lucky that I started out with thick hair, but the thought of this

going on for another few months makes me freak.

Re too much P being the cause - I had not thought of that.

I started w/ OTC P cream about 4 months ago because I was having a period every

2 weeks and hormone headaches. After a cycle or 2 of using P cream, things

normalized. Sublingual P that I started with pellets didn't seem to do as well

and I got a period 2 weeks again, so I started the cream again. Would that be

anywhere near enough to be the cause? (about 30 mg/day; on 3 weeks/off one week)

thanks
